Jigawa Police lose 3 senior officers in 14 days

The Police Command in Jigawa State on Monday, July 8, announced the passing of three of its senior officers.

News Agency of Nigeria reports that the officers died of various ailments within the space of FG 14 days. 

The spokesperson for the command, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Lawan Shiisu, in a statement issued on Monday, July 8, in Dutse said the officers died between June 22 and July 5.

Details and rank of the late officers

According to Shiisu, the officers who died includeSP Salisu Salisu-Mudi, a Patrol and Guard from Babura Division, who died at the Federal Medical Centre, Katsina on June 22.

Others, he said, was ASP Asabe Muhammad, the second-in-command, Gender Desk Office of the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), who died on Wednesday, July 3.

Shiisu added that the Jigawa State Police command also lost the Divisional Police Officer of Yankwaahi Division, CSP Muhammad Salihu-Koko, who died on Friday, July 5.

While praying for the repose of the late officers, Shiisu said that the command has commiserated with the families and loved ones of the deceased.
