Real Madrid will officially unveil Kylian Mbappe as their player at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium next Tuesday, the Spanish giants announced.
The confirmation came less than 24 hours after the former Paris Saint-Germain star and the French team were knocked out of Euro 2024 by Spain in the semi-finals.
According to a statement issued by the club on Wednesday, Mbappe, who is expected to wear the number 9 jersey, will be presented at the Bernabeu at midday (1000 GMT) on Tuesday. Real president Florentino Perez will welcome him for the signing of his five-year contract.
The French national captain had a disappointing Euro 2024. He sustained a nose injury against Austria and missed a late chance to equalize in the 2-1 defeat to Spain on Tuesday.
