Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla, Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), has urged the graduating sailors of the Nigerian Navy Military School to prioritize discipline and hard work in their future careers.

Speaking at the passing-out parade for 67 graduating sailors on Saturday at the school in Ikot Ntuen, Oruk Anam, Akwa Ibom, Ogalla emphasized that these qualities are essential for a successful military career.

Represented by Rear Admiral Kennedy Ezete, Chief of Administration at the Naval Headquarters, Ogalla encouraged the young sailors to serve as exemplary ambassadors of their training institution.

“As we celebrate the graduation of the second cohort of our young sailors today, I reaffirm my unwavering support for the Nigerian Navy Military School,” Ogalla stated. “I urge all graduates to apply the training they received here effectively and to be excellent representatives of the school.”

He commended Capt. Ogbonaiya Oko, the school Commandant, and all attached naval personnel for their dedication to the school’s mission.

“You have demonstrated unwavering commitment to producing disciplined and capable individuals ready for service in the Nigerian Navy,” Ogalla said. “The vision and mission of the school offer significant benefits to both the navy and the nation.”

Ogalla praised the school’s achievements in fostering excellence, discipline, and leadership, noting that the navy has significantly contributed to the country’s educational development through the institution.

“I am pleased with the level of dedication, resilience, and excellence shown by our graduating sailors,” he added. “You have worked hard to distinguish yourselves, and we honor your achievements.”
