Renowned juju and gospel musician Dele Agbeyo, popularly known as Dele Gold, has reportedly passed away.
His death comes just a month after the demise of fellow singer Aduke Ajayi, also known as Aduke Gold.
According to a report by Western Post, Gold died on Wednesday, September 11, following a brief illness.
The report also cited reactions made by several of Goldās colleagues in the music industry, which includes Titi Oguntoyinbo, Akinlabi Major, Alayoka Melody Singer, and Wonder Doyin Kujore.
Highlighting several condolences post, the report stated that Akinlabi Major wrote on his Facebook page that, āLet someone tell me this is not true. RIP Dele Gold.ā
Similarly, Alayo Melody Singer also mourned the loss, saying, āDele Gold kee??? Ahh, this is getting too much ooo!!! May God help us stop untimely death.ā
āDele Agbeyo, may your soul rest in peace.ā Wonder Doyin Kujore added, āNothing is in this world, let us live today and leave tomorrow for God. Rest on, Dele Agbotikuyo Dele Gold.ā
Dele Gold, known as the self-acclaimed Miliki Gospel King, hailed from Usi, Ekiti State, and was raised in Faforiji, Osun State.
He began his musical journey after being inspired by a series of dreams. In 2019, he collaborated with legendary juju musician, Ebenezer Obey, on one of his albums, solidifying his influence in the juju and gospel music scene.
