Chizoba, a former contestant from season nine of Big Brother Naija, has shut down rumours of a falling out with her sister Onyeka.

The two, who entered the reality show as Team Chekas, sparked speculation of a strained relationship due to frequent disagreements during their time in the house.

Chizoba, who was evicted from the show alongside fellow housemate Ben last Sunday, September 15, addressed the rumours in a post-eviction interview.

She clarified that the arguments between her and Onyeka were strictly related to creative differences during tasks and wagers, and not personal issues.

The software developer stressed that their bond remains strong despite their on-screen disputes.

“There is nothing to remedy in our relationship. If you listen to our arguments, we did not use hurtful words on each other like ‘I hate you or I think you hate me’.

“It was just arguments, there are literally times she’s fighting my battles for me. It is just two sisters that care about each other,” she said.

The reality show star, 31, also ascribed their disagreements to their varied styles and dispositions.

“I cry because I am more emotional than her and she on the other hand has this big energy. Of course, big energy means that she will explode.

“So it is not like we hated each other, it was more of creative arguments. We only argued during tasks and wagers, nothing more. I do not know why the narrative out here is that we have a strained relationship,” she said.

“We live together, we have been together since she was born. So it’s all love, just creative arguments. Creative people want their ideas out there and have different ways to get their ideas out there and we are two completely different human beings. I am going right, she is going left.

“The only thing I know moving forward is how to work on meeting in the middle, meeting in the middle without arguments. The arguments were not that deep, just arguments over tasks and wagers,” she added.
