The pastor in charge of the Summit Bible Church in Kubwa, Abuja, Dan Anorue, has declared that Nigeria would be great again irrespective of its economic projections.

He gave the assurance during a service marking the church’s 19th anniversary, saying that notwithstanding the high rate of inflation and exchange rate, Nigeria will bounce back to its glory.

Anorue spoke on the topic, “Anniversary of Prosperity” while citing the Book of First John Chapter 1 verse three.

He explained that it was God’s will for mankind “to prosper and be in good health even as one’s soul prospers.

“There are so many challenges faced in the country ranging from the high prices of goods and services; hike in the pump price of fuel; depression and mental health issues confronting citizens.

“It doesn’t matter what the economy is saying; it doesn’t matter what the predictons are; it doesn’t matter what you’re passing through; in all of these, God is faithful and will bring us out of these situations.

“It is God’s will for us to prosper. Our economy is not dependent on the world’s economy. Our economy is dependent on God’s kingdom economy.

“The Lord says He is going to supply our riches in glory this is because our prosperity is on the basis of God’s Word. For us, we need just to align with the promises of God, the truth in God’s Word and walk in the light of the truth.

“The church is moving into another phase and this phase is a phase of prosperity for greater exploits,” Mr Anorue said.

In his remarks, chairman of the anniversary committee, Mr Kingsley Akwudolu, said that attaining the 19th anniversary of the establishment of the Kubwa centre of the Summit Bible Church worldwide was worth celebrating.

“Looking back to how and where we started, we can only thank God for His faithfulness and mercy,” he said.

He said that in spite of the economic challenge in the country, the church through the committee was able to put up a glorious celebration.
