Barely 24 hours after the announcement of nominees for seven ministerial positions, President Bola Tinubu has written to the Nigerian Senate for their confirmation.

Read on the floor of the plenary, the letter listed the nominees to include: Nentawe Yilwatda, Muhammadu Dingyadi, Bianca Odumegu-Ojukwu, Jumoke Oduwole, Mukhtar Maiha, Yusuf Abdullahi Ata and Suwaiba Ahmad.

After reading the president’s letter to the members of the Senate, Mr Akpabio referred the request to the committee of the whole for expeditious consideration.

Recall that the president also announced the nomination of seven new ministers while reshuffling his cabinet and merging two ministries on Wednesday, October 23, 2024.
