The Bauchi State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) held a crucial meeting, reaffirming its unwavering support for President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and his two ministers from the state.
This is contained in a communique at the end of the stakeholders’ meeting, signed by Muhammad Hassan, the party’s chairman in the state, issued to newsmen in Bauchi on Saturday, November 2, 2024.
It said that the resolution at the meeting demonstrated the party’s commitment to delivering on the mandate of the citizens of Nigeria.
“The party unanimously resolved to support President Tinubu’s agenda and his ministers from Bauchi State.
“To maintain peace and unity within the APC Bauchi State for collective progress and benefit of the people.
“It was also agreed that critical stakeholders’ meeting be held quarterly and discipline to be enforced against erring members at all levels without fear or favour,” it noted.
The communique said the meeting also recommended that palliative allocation be channelled through elected/appointed party members from the state.
It also stressed the need to ensure justice, equity, and fairness in future congresses, primaries, and general elections, and support for all APC candidates in future elections.
The party urged the Federal Government to alleviate the suffering of citizens and revive the Bauchi-Gombe Oil Project for the collective benefit of the people.
“We need to maintain unity of purpose as well as brotherliness for the progress of our party and the country at large,” the communique stated.
