A former Manchester United striker Ruud Van Nistelrooy has expressed interest in managing his former club.
In a comment shared on X by football journalist Fabrizio Romano, Mr Nistelrooy revealed his aspirations, saying, “Of course, I’d love to be Man United manager one day.”
The Dutchman, who recently took up an assistant coaching role on a two-year contract, confirmed his long-term ambition to lead a club as a head coach.
He said, “I have clear ambitions to manage… I signed a two-year deal as an assistant, and I’m still in the same frame of mind.”
