Victor Osimhen’s brace seals Galatasaray’s 3-2 victory against Samsunspor in Turkish Super League.

Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen continued his impressive goal-scoring form for Galatasaray, netting a double to lead his team to a 3-2 win over Samsunspor in a tense Turkish Super League clash at RAMS Park on Sunday.

Osimhen, 25, opened the scoring just four minutes into the match with a powerful header, capitalising on a precise cross from Lucas Torreira that thrilled the home fans.

Although Samsunspor managed to equalise early in the second half, Osimhen quickly restored Galatasaray’s lead, taking advantage of a fumbled cross by the goalkeeper to nod in his second goal at the far post.

This brace marks Osimhen’s second in four days, following his standout performance against Tottenham in the Europa League. Since joining Galatasaray on loan, Osimhen has scored six goals in six league matches and eight goals across all competitions in nine appearances.

Following Osimhen’s brace, both teams found the net once more, but Galatasaray held onto their lead, securing three points to extend their unbeaten run and widen their gap at the top of the league table to six points.
