Yusuf hails Kwankwaso’s contribution to Nigeria’s democracy

He equally lauded the contribution of Mr Kwankwaso to the growth of the NNPP which formed government in Kano State after the 2023 general elections.

The governor of Kano State, Abba Yusuf has commended the leader of the New Nigerian Peoples Party, Rabiu Kwankwaso for his immense contributions to the growth and development of politics and democracy in the country.

Mr Yusuf said this at the wedding reception of the former governor of Kano’s daughter, Aisha Kwankwaso which took place on Saturday, November 16, 2024.

He equally lauded the contribution of Mr Kwankwaso to the growth of the NNPP which formed government in Kano State after the 2023 general elections.

The governor advised the bride and her groom, Fahad Mangal, to cultivate tolerance and understanding among themselves so as to achieve a peaceful married life.

He also emphasised the importance of mutual understanding and respect in building a strong marriage.

He thanked all the guests who attended the Wedding Fatiha, including Vice President Kashim Shettima, former President Olusegun Obasanjo, a former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.

The wedding, which took place at the Palace of the Emir of Kano, was conducted by the Chief Imam of Kano, Sani Zahraddeen.

Mr Yusuf’s connection to Kwankwaso dates back to many years before he served as Commissioner for Works, Housing and Transport during Kwankwaso’s second term as governor of the state.
