Wizkid’s previous project, the Made in Lagos (Deluxe) album, earned him a 2022 Grammy nomination for Best Global Music Album. Its standout track “Essence,” featuring Tems, became a Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 hit and received a Grammy nod for Best Global Music Performance.
With Morayo, Wizkid continues his legacy of crafting boundary-pushing Afrobeats music while paying homage to his roots and personal journey. Fans and critics alike are eager to see how this deeply personal album will shape his already illustrious career.
