According to The PUNCH, this was disclosed in a statement by the Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, on Saturday.

According to the statement, the initiative aligns with the IGā€™s vision to foster better working conditions and elevate the standards of professionalism within the force.

ā€œThe Inspector-General of Police IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has again approved the distribution of new kits and uniforms to NPF personnel in other ranks, reaffirming his commitment to improving officersā€™ welfare and boosting their morale.

ā€œThis initiative supports his vision to enhance improved working conditions and professionalism within the force,ā€ Adejobi stated.

Egbetokun also expressed optimism that the implementation of the 2025 budget would enable additional welfare-focused projects to support officers in effectively discharging their duties.

ā€œThe IGP expressed optimism that, with the approval of the 2025 budget, more welfare-focused projects will be implemented to further support officers to carry out their duties effectively.
