President Bola Tinubu is currently holding a high-level security meeting at the State House with service chiefs and Inspector-General of Police.
The intent behind the closed-door meeting remains unclear for now, but considering the personalities present, it’s likely that discussions will center on the recent attacks on military bases and the escalating insecurity sweeping across different parts of the country.
The meeting attendees are Christopher Musa, the chief of defence staff; Olufemi Oluyede, chief of army staff; Hassan Abubakar, the chief of air staff; Emmanuel Ogalla, chief of naval staff; and Kayode Egbetokun, the inspector-general of police.
