A man has been arrested following an attack on a mosque in County Down, Northern Ireland.
The incident occurred early Saturday at a mosque on Greenwell Street in Newtownards.
Police investigating the attack arrested a 42-year-old man on Sunday after conducting searches at two properties in the Newtownards area.
The suspect was taken into custody on suspicion of multiple offenses, including attempted arson, possession of a petrol bomb, and attempted intimidation.
