The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Abdullahi Ganduje, has condoled the families of five police officers who died in a motor accident while returning from Edo.
Mr Ganduje spoke at the Bichi Central Mosque, while offering prayers for the deceased police officers.
He described the incident as a sad moment for the Police Force, himself, and the nation in general.
Mr Ganduje also donated N2 million to each of the five deceased officers’ families and
N1 million to ten injured officers.
“I decided to personally come down to Bichi because of the enormity of the situatiin, and because the officers died in active service,” the former governor said.
In addition, Kabir Abubakar, the House Committee Chairman on Appropriation condoled the families of the deceased officers.
