Renowned filmmaker and actor Kunle Afolayan has announced the passing of his mother, Omoladun Ayanladun Afolayan, widow of the late actor and filmmaker Adelove Afolayan, at 81.
Afolayan shared the sad news with fans and followers on Saturday, November 2, through his official Instagram account, paying tribute to his beloved mother.
“It is hard to accept, but she lived a good life. Our mother, Maami Omoladun Ayanladun Afolayan, has gone to rest (1943–2024). Please keep us in your prayers. Omo re agbeyin gbogbo wa,” he wrote in the caption of photos of his late mother.
