The National Assembly has unsealed the office of Senator representing Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, according to Channels Television.
Her office, located in Suite 2.05 of the Senate Wing, was unsealed on Tuesday morning by the Sergeant at Arms of the National Assembly, along with combined security personnel.
Recall that the embattled lawmaker was in March slammed with a six-month suspension by the Senate, which also barred her from participating in all activities of the 10th Senate over her alleged misconduct when she protested against the reassignment of her seat by Senate President Godswill Akpabio on February 20.
Akpoti-Uduaghan’s suspension ended in September 2025, but she has been unable to resume her duties due to ongoing legal issues and continued opposition from the Senate leadership.
The Senator had, a week earlier, written to the upper chamber to notify them of her intention to resume duties following her six-month suspension, which the National Assembly rejected.
