Pope Leo XIV met with bishops from Nigeria in the Apostolic Palace during their Ad Limina Apostolorum visit in Rome.
In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter) by Vatican News on Friday, the Pope was seen receiving members of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Nigeria during the meeting.
The Ad Limina Apostolorum visit is a traditional pilgrimage in which Catholic bishops travel to Rome to meet the Pope and report on the pastoral situation and challenges of their dioceses.
The pope was elected on May 8, 2025, and inaugurated on May 18, 2025.
