As part of these high-level engagements, Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, alongside former Osun State governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola and former Ekiti State governor Kayode Fayemi, paid a visit to former President Olusegun Obasanjo at his private residence within the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Governor Makinde disclosed details of the meeting on Sunday via a post on his verified X handle, accompanied by photographs of the gathering.
Revealing the purpose of the engagement, Makinde noted that the talks revolved around critical national matters in the lead-up to the polls, adding: “We appreciate Baba for his wise counsel at this crucial time in our nation’s history.”
