Nottingham Forest full-back Ola Aina has ruled out the possibility of a move to Arsenal, joking that he is “too old” to join the North London side.
The Nigeria international made the comment in a video that emerged on Tuesday after a Nigerian fan working at Wimbledon approached him and asked whether he would be open to signing for the Gunners.
“I’m too old for Arsenal,” Aina responded with a smile.
The 29-year-old has been with Nottingham Forest for the past three seasons, having arrived from Torino in the summer of 2023. Prior to his return to the Premier League, he also spent the 2020/21 season with Fulham.
