Pastor Kolawole Daniel of the Christ For All Church in Ilorin l, Kwara State has warned the public against the abuse of social media.

Mr Daniel said that social media has regrettably been negatively used to promote hate and crisis across the country.

He stated that Nigerians have been misusing social media and have never minded the consequences of the wrong use.

“Wrong use of social media is doing more damage than many people think. We need to be careful of the way we just post fake news and attack people wrongly.

“We see instances where nude pictures will be flaunted on social media by youths.

“They have turned social media to a dustbin, where anything can be put and deposited for public view.

“We wrongly use Facebook, X, Instagram, Whatsapp and other apps to promote immorality,” Mr Daniel said.

The cleric then urged all Nigerians of different age grades to use social media in a decent way, rather than using it to mislead the public
