The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has called on all eligible Nigerians who have yet to register to do so before the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise concludes on Sunday, 26 July 2026.

INEC confirmed that all registration physical centres across the country, including state and local government offices, will remain open daily over the weekend, operating from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to accommodate last-minute applicants. Prospective voters can also complete the entire process digitally via the dedicated CVR portal.

In a public notice published on X on Saturday, the commission stressed the urgency of the impending deadline for both new voters and those needing to update existing details on the national register.

“Your future won’t wait. Neither should you,” the commission warned. “The Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise ends Sunday, 26 July 2026.”
