President Tinubu departs Saudi Arabia, returns to Abuja after joint summit

President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, returned to Abuja from an official trip to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where he attended the Joint Arab-Islamic summit.

The president arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja at about 8:00 pm and was welcomed by members of his administration.

On the ground to welcome the President were Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff, and Wale Edun, the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy.

Others include Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, and Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje, Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress.

The President was accompanied on the trip by Yusuf Tuggar, the Minister of Foreign Affairs; Nuhu Ribadu, the National Security Adviser and Mohammed Idris, the Minister of Information and National Orientation.

Also in the president’s entourage is Mohammed Mohammed, the Director General of the National Intelligence Agency.
